The San Oscar Romero City Tour is a unique tourist product in El Salvador, for its recent historical value. Canonized on October 14, 2018 in Rome. A Salvadoran martyr, whose work transcended internationally in history, for his ecclesiastical work in favor of the poor and justice, which earned him the nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.

This 6-hour tour includes the Monseñor Romero Center and Martyrs Museum of the UCA, which includes the Martyrs Hall, Chapel and Garden of the Roses. Continue to the Cathedral of San Salvador, sacred abode of the remains of Santo Romero; and then to the Museum of Word and Image, to see the exhibition of personal photographs of who Oscar Romero was. And later, the Monseñor Romero Historic Center, inside the Providencia Divine Hospital, continues through the house in which the Blessed and the Chapel lived where his death occurred.
In the extended Tour, the tourist is allowed to extend the itinerary to 2 days, visiting the National Museum of Anthropology MUNA, with a room dedicated to the memory of Blessed. Likewise, you can visit in Santa Tecla, the Shrine of Monsignor Romero, in the house of the Chacón sisters, impregnated with resources of the close friendship that uniquely unique; Get to know El Paseo El Carmen, for a pleasant walk and tasting of varied cuisine.
